Inside out; walking around in the museum, you might get distracted by the art. You, however, don’t want to miss out on the outside views. After all, why are you there? Well, maybe because of the art but here, from inside the museum, is a decent view of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel and something else.

Inside out at the Louvre, numéro deux. And here I took a look through a key hole et voilà, Sacré Cœur. Well I was looking through something to see Paris rooftops with a vision of Sacré-Cœur atop butte Montmartre in the distance.

Inside out, numéro trois. What else can you see from inside the museum looking out? Well, the Louvre, from many different vantage points actually. Here’s one showing some of the grand architecture from this 72,000 plus square metre (slightly larger than the house we are currently building) structure. Turns out you can display a fair bit of beautiful and interesting art in 72,000 square metres.

Inside out, numéro quatre. You don’t have to scale a lamp post to get an overview picture of the museum’s outside activity. (I doubt le gendarme would appreciate that.) Personally my scaling lamp post days are over; actually, I don’t believe I had any scaling lamp post days. Inside the museum, however, you can include the vintage looking lamp post in the picture. All you have to do is pay a small, maybe not that small, fee to get in. But, to further justify that fee, you may find other interesting things worthy of your attention inside as well.

So a pyramid traditionally, if you can say traditionally for centuries upon centuries, is a resting place for the soul. These newer glass ones come with a staircase to come and go as well as a great outside view. The view inside the branching museum is also pretty nice.
