Shakespeare and Company book bag

Shakespeare and Company book bag, books and coffee for some relaxing reading. Well, if I can’t visit Shakespeare and Company in Paris, then at least I can create a Shakespeare and Company reading atmosphere with their book bag. I have a book bag filled with books, a stack of books for my coffee and a book to read, thus, life is good.

“London is a roost for every bird.” Benjamin Disraeli, Lothair. Apparently so, and a walk through St. James Park will provide the evidence. What I didn’t know, however, was that Benjamin Disraeli, known as a politician and two time Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, was also a novelist. Lothair, which is one of many books he wrote, is described as philosophical fiction.

Musée d’Orsay

Travel time again so, with a quick moment of brightness peeking through those clouds, we better get to Musée d’Orsay to avoid the rain. Actually, more than to avoid the rain, Musée d’Orsay is my favourite larger museum in Paris. It’s large enough to spend a substantial amount of enjoyable time, however, not too large, like the one on the other side of the Seine, to be overwhelming for a one day visit.
